Don’t Let Glass Touch Fine Art! This includes photos, paintings, and fabric works. The width of a single or double mat provides adequate airspace to protect the art.
If no mat is appropriate, a clear spacer can be inserted in the framing process. Direct pressure of art-to-glass can cause deterioration and discolorization of the art.
